I generally never know what to say in my monthly journals during a festival. My life quickly becomes both a lot of fun, but also very routine. I work during the week down in Charlotte. In the evenings I hit my CrossFit gym. Then I go home, grab dinner and watch a show to wind down […]
Man, July was one crazy-ass month. My birthday party was at the end, and it was going to be a big one. So I had a lot of work to do around the house. Basically taking out a load bearing wall, so I had to do a bunch of work in the crawlspace, and put down […]
Can you believe it, Blue Team’s fifth year in South Dakota. Man do I love this festival. And of course shenanigans continue at home. Come on in and check it out.
This was filmed right after seeing a performance of The Nutcracker. “From me and mine to your and yours…Merry Christmas!” (Apologies for the audio. We’re having someone look at it to see if they can filter some of the background noise out and then we’ll reload.)
July, the heat of summer in the South, and my birthday month. Also my last full month off before heading to the Michigan Renaissance Festival. I don’t know how I can simultaneously both try to get a lot of things done, and seem to have nothing really to show for it. I blame having the day job and hitting CrossFit each night during the week.
Liam: Here’s the final draft of my bio! Ronn: Thanks for not mentioning the web camera video. Liam: I also left out getting pulled over for masturbating while driving, the felonies, and getting kicked out of two high schools. Bryan: Just remember, if you’re going to masturbate while driving, be sure to use the Lays […]
Yup, this month found me back in the Mid-West. But alas, only for a weekend. It’s time for the Siouxland Renaissance Festival. It’s a small tent festival, but they have always treated us very well, and this year was no different! I ended up flying into Minneapolis and met Amanda Renaud of the Jypsy Jesters. […]
Nothing too exciting going on this month. I have a nice break from Tortuga, so that means time to get some work done around the house! Sticking with the not very exciting theme, I’ve made my first trip (three of them actually) to an inert land fill. Since I bought my house I’ve had a […]
Is it just me, or does it feel colder this year than last February? I need someone to help keep me warm. The first three weeks were pretty laid back. Last minute preparations for heading down to Bay Area Renaissance Festival. The most exciting thing in my work would probably be pretty boring to most […]
Did I spell “harumpf” correctly? January, my first month with almost no Tortuga related business in quite a while. New years eve was pretty fun. Had my traditional new year’s party with lots of friends over. All in all it was a laid back affair, but it was still great to have them all there. […]
